When you face infertility, the cost of IVF can add hardship to heartache. The Family Act would bring financial relief to the 1 in 7 American couples experiencing infertility. Dr. Mark Denker and Palm Beach Fertility Center support legislation called the Family Act, a bill that could become law if enough people get behind it. Congress fell short on votes in 2011, but reintroduced the bill in May 2013.
Here’s what we at Palm Beach Fertility Center want you to know about the Family Act.
3 Family Act Facts
- Allows for a $12,000 tax credit for the out-of-pocket expenses of IVF infertility treatment: fertility drugs, fertility clinic expenses, sonography, IVF cycle monitoring and embryo transfer.
- Or, allows for a $12,000 tax credit for the out-of-pocket expenses of fertility preservation: fertility drugs, fertility clinic expenses, sonography, IVF cycle monitoring and cryopreservation.
- Contact our Congressman Ted Deutch and Representatives Kelly Skidmore and Bill Hager in support of S 881/HR 1851.
